Is this for me?
Let's be honest
about who this is for.
This trip isn't for everyone, and we'd rather tell you now than have you find out at 2,000 metres. Read this before you book — it's the most useful page on the site.
The honest answer
This is a remote, off-grid cat-ski trip for advanced and expert riders. If you're comfortable on steep, ungroomed snow and you want a week with no crowds and no signal — you'll love it. If you're still learning off-piste, or you want resort comforts, this isn't the one.
For you / not for you
- You ski or ride off-piste regularly and feel at home on steep, ungroomed terrain
- You want untracked snow and are happy to trade lifts and après for it
- Being unreachable for a week sounds like the point, not a problem
- You're fit enough for six full days at altitude, back to back
- You travel well with a group and don't need a five-star room
- You understand backcountry skiing carries real, managed risk
- You're still learning to ski or ride off the groomed runs
- You want a resort — lifts, bars, shops, ski school, nightlife
- You need phone signal, wifi, or to stay contactable
- You're looking for a relaxed, low-effort week
- You'd be uncomfortable far from a road, town, or ski patrol
- You expect hotel-grade rooms and service
The level
Advanced to expert. We mean it.
You don't need to be a sponsored athlete, but you do need to be a confident off-piste rider. The terrain here is steep, variable, and ungroomed; the guides choose lines to match the group — but the baseline is that you can ski or ride real backcountry snow safely.
This is not the place to learn freeride skiing. There are no green runs and no way to "take it easy" off to the side. If you're unsure whether your level fits, tell us honestly when you get in touch — we'll give you a straight answer.
Snowboarders are welcome and ride the same terrain; just be aware that flatter plateau sections may mean some traversing.

Safety
Remote doesn't mean reckless.
Every guest is issued a full avalanche safety kit — transceiver, probe, shovel, and airbag — and our certified guides carry it and use it every day. Each morning starts with a conditions and avalanche briefing, and the guides choose terrain based on the snowpack and the group.
Backcountry skiing carries real risk that can be managed but never removed. We're honest about that, and we expect guests who understand it. If you have questions about how we run safety, ask us directly before you book.
