Write to us

Send a message via the contact form or email info@albanianfreeride.com directly. Tell us your preferred dates, group size (or if you’re joining solo), where you’re flying from, and a brief note on your ski or snowboard experience. That’s all we need to start.

We confirm & call

We respond within 48 hours. If your dates are available, we’ll confirm the slot and schedule a short call — usually 15–20 minutes. We go over the trip details, answer your questions, and make sure the experience is the right fit. No pressure, no sales pitch.

Deposit & done

Once you’re ready to confirm, we send booking terms and a deposit invoice. The deposit secures your place. The balance is due closer to departure. Payment by bank transfer. Your slot is held from the moment the deposit clears.

Groups or individuals

Three steps from first contact to confirmed booking. No online checkout, no automated system. Every booking is handled directly.

For groups

Group booking

You bring the group, choose your dates, and book the full slot. One person coordinates the booking on behalf of the group — individual members can pay separately if needed, just let us know upfront.

Group size: 10–12 guests at €2,200 per person. Smaller groups are welcome — price adjusts based on numbers. No minimum.

For individuals

Join a group

We run one guaranteed group departure per season that individuals can join. For 2026/27 this is the December slot. Use the contact form, select “Just me — join a group,” and we’ll confirm remaining spots and whether the group is a good experience match.

Friend discount applies: bring one friend, both save 5%. Bring two friends, all three save 7%.

What to expect

to arrival day.

Step 1

First contact

You write to us. We ask: preferred dates, group size, where you’re flying from, and your experience level. The more detail you give us up front, the faster we can confirm. We aim to reply within 48 hours on all days outside the active season. During season (December–April) it may be slightly longer — we’re on the mountain.

Step 2

Availability check

We check your requested dates against the season calendar. If your slot is available, we confirm it in writing and propose a call time. If your dates are taken, we’ll suggest alternatives. Slots go fast in peak season — the sooner you write, the better your options.

Step 3

The call

A 15–20 minute call to cover the trip in detail. We’ll talk through the terrain, the guesthouse, what to bring, and any specific questions you have. We’ll also ask about your group’s experience levels — not to gatekeep, but to make sure the guide can plan appropriately. If we think the trip isn’t the right fit, we’ll say so clearly.

Step 4

Booking confirmation

We send the booking terms document and a deposit invoice. Your slot is provisionally held for 7 days while you review. Once the deposit clears, the booking is confirmed in writing. We send a confirmation email with all trip details, transfer coordination instructions, and a pre-trip checklist.

Step 5

Before departure

Balance payment is due before the departure date — exact timing is in the booking terms. We’ll be in touch closer to the trip to coordinate airport transfers, collect flight details, and answer any final questions. We’ll also send a packing list and what to expect on Day 1.

Arrival

Day 1 — Peja

We meet you at the airport or coordinate your arrival into Peja. Evening safety briefing covers avalanche equipment, transceiver use, and the plan for the week. Early start the next morning — the cat waits for no one.

Common booking questions.

As early as possible. We run a limited number of slots per season and the guaranteed group departure fills first. We recommend getting in touch at least 3–4 months before your preferred dates. For peak months (January–February), earlier is better.

We ask everyone to do a short call before confirming. It’s 15–20 minutes and makes a real difference — both for you and for us. It’s the fastest way to answer questions, confirm the experience is a fit, and get your booking moving.

Yes. One person coordinates the booking, but we can issue individual invoices per person if your group prefers to pay separately. Let us know when you first get in touch and we’ll set it up.

Deposits are non-refundable. For cancellations close to the departure date, partial or full loss of the trip cost may apply — full terms are in the booking terms document. This is why we strongly recommend travel insurance that covers trip cancellation before you pay the deposit.

Yes. Write to us and we’ll add you to the list for your preferred dates. Cancellations do happen — if a spot opens up, we contact the waiting list in order. No obligation until we confirm availability and you pay the deposit.

Date changes are subject to availability and must be requested as early as possible. We’ll do our best to accommodate, but cannot guarantee alternative dates. Date changes close to the departure window may be treated as a cancellation — refer to the booking terms.

Full weather cancellations are rare — the snowpack is consistent and the plateau is well sheltered. Individual ski days may be affected by conditions; the guide will make daily decisions on terrain. In the event of a full trip cancellation on our part, we’ll work with you on rescheduling or a refund. Full terms are in the booking terms document.
